What is amigurumi?

The word amigurumi is a combination of two Japanese words: “ami”, meaning crocheted or knitted, and “nuigurumi” meaning stuffed doll.
These beautiful stuffed toys can be made in any size but they’re usually small and crocheted in lightweight yarns.Amigurumi is simply the name given to the little characters, and crochet is the craft most commonly used to make them! Although it's more popular to crochet amigurumi, they can also be knitted.
Our beautiful crochet toys are handmade by women in Sri Lanka providing them independence and a direct fair income for their amazing skills.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Hand wash in a mild, environmentally friendly baby wash liquid in cold water. Do not soak, machine wash or place in dryer. Please note colours may fade after washing.
