    Our brand ethos and measures of success are based on these principles:

    Ethically Made and Minded

    • We carefully select like minded partners for all aspects of our business.

    • 90% of our toys and gifts collection are handmade from recycled materials by women from underprivileged communities around Sri Lanka's Colombo and Panadura Districts. Using up-cycled fabric, paper and other items.
    • More than 60% of the profits from our dolls go back to helping these women and their communities.

    Craftsmanship and Community

    • Our garments and handmade gifts are made in fair trade communities in Sri Lanka and Nepal.
    • Made in small family businesses where fair wages, support for women and good labour practices are evident.
    • We hope to protect the unique skills of local artisans and creators from such communities to preserve and promote good quality production like smocking and natural dying techniques that stands the test of time. 
    • We support communities and planet protection causes through donations and charity projects. More in this space to come soon.

    Sustainable Sourcing

    • Our fabrics are natural linen muslin, cotton and linen and mostly organic  and GOTS certified to minimise unnecessary harmful chemicals into the natural environment.
    • We source natural fabric from the following sources; fabric that is otherwise waste, unsellable and end of season.  Using these we create beautiful good quality garments to help reduce waste and unnecessary landfill.

    • Our packaging partner: Noissue Tissue. Noissue is part of the Eco-Packaging Alliance is a great way to contribute to global reforestation, and show off your eco-friendly packaging! For every order they plant trees in areas of need.
    • Our freight partner: Sendle. Sendle were founded as Australia’s first 100% carbon neutral delivery service, and they maintain that commitment to this day. They are also Australia’s first tech B-corp company.

    Conscious Processes

    • Our conscious values means that we are change agents across all aspects of our processes that strive to make beautiful, desirable products with the least impact to our planet.  
    • We believe in mindful consumption and encourage our customers to share our products amongst friends, family, for future generations or be up-cycled into something beautiful.
    • Our range is trans-seasonal to avoid excess stock and waste.
